4Movimento periodically organises dance performances for the dancers of the school. The teachers not only impart skills and passion but also care about the happiness of their students and encourage them to participate in performances. Check the page for the latest initiatives.
The annual dance event took place on 21st December in the council chamber of the Municipality of Sarzana. The classes performed "The Bells of Christmas", choreographed by Lucia Boschi and Alice Maruelli to the music of Mozart.
On 21st February 2019, 4Movimento took part in the performance for the inauguration of the Theatrical Season at the Teatro degli Impavidi in Sarzana, along with the association of Scarti, Les Mobiles education to movement, and Isforcoop.
Among the private dance workshops scheduled this year, there is an appointment with Carolina Amoretti, held monthly and ending coincidentally with the demonstration lessons. It is an opportunity for growth, allowing participants to experience a different type of work from the usual, yet still current, technical, and artistic.
A very special event took place from May 10th to 12th: the teachers accompanied the advanced course students to a private workshop held by dancers from the NDT, offering a moment of exclusive technical and artistic growth.
As part of the FISIKO! festival with Eddie Oroyan, dancer with Ultima Vez and Emanuel Gat Dance & Jessica Eirado Enes, this private dance workshop is held. It starts from the idea of the ideomotor effect, i.e., the idea that generates movement, on which the Ouija board is based: the workshop delves into subconscious work in a workshop on hyper-listening and empathetic movement, following a path that explores group manipulation, allowing the animal spirit within each person to express itself through practices, tools, and games to free the mind and encourage quick decisions.
The workshop stems from the search for ensemble improvisation in dance, along with experiences and practices like Vipassana meditation. The work is aimed at lovers of movement dance, circus performers, and actors who work with the body.
Eddie Bruno Oroyan has worked with Ultima Vez for 6 years; today he works with Emmanuel Gat Dance on projects like Ten Works and Story Water, advancing his research with Jessica Eirado Enes and the company My Homeless Lovers.
Following an accident in 2014, he began practices of meditation, studying and observing animal reflexes, leading to research on empathetic movement, the basis of his work as a performer and teacher.
Among his experiences:
He was also a founding member of Black Label Movement, whose most recent collaborations were presented at the American Dance Festival in 2014 and Zurich Tanzt 2015. In 2016, he presented a duet with Natalia Pieczuro at P12 Space in Brussels. Jessica Eirado Enes is a freelance dancer and choreographer, trained with the Zappalà Danza Company. She has worked with:
In 2016, she received a scholarship for the intensive Nod program in Turin, where she studied the repertoire of famous companies such as Batsheva, Ultima Vez, Hofesh Shechter. She worked with Annamaria Ajmone, in "Imaginary Garden With Real Toads in Them" at the Venice Biennale. In 2017, she was part of the acclaimed production "Requiem for Aleppo," choreographed by Jason Mabana at Sadler's Wells Theatre in London, for the European tour. Since 2018, she has been part of the Belgian company In 2018, Zemiata, directed by Youri De Gussem.
